Samenvatting

Na een schematherapie (ST) voor borderline persoonlijkheidsstoornis volgens Young (Young, Klosko & Weishaar, 2003) blijken de klachten van ongeveer de helft van de patiënten niet meer aan de criteria van een persoonlijkheidsstoornis te voldoen (Giesen-Bloo et al., 2006). ST volgens Beck inclusief behandeling van traumatische jeugdervaringen bij andere persoonlijkheidsstoornissen laat eveneens grote effecten zien (Weertman & Arntz, 2007).
