Samenvatting
Zoals in de vorige twee hoofdstukken over opleiding en registratie tot schematherapeut (18) en cursussen op dit gebied (19) al gesteld, vormt supervisie een noodzakelijke voorwaarde om schematherapie goed te leren uitvoeren en toepassen. Alleen het volgen van een cursus is onvoldoende om ‘limited reparenting’ en de verschillende technieken te leren toepassen én op het juiste moment in te zetten. Dit heeft te maken met het feit dat schematherapie een integratieve vorm van psychotherapie is waarbij de therapeut zo goed mogelijk aansluit bij de behoeften van de patiënt.
