Samenvatting

Het operatieve proces is een complex proces met vele stappen die gelijktijdig en/of opeenvolgend worden uitgevoerd door vele hulpverleners. Om dat proces veilig en betrouwbaar te doorlopen, is niet alleen medisch-inhoudelijke kennis bij de zorgverleners vereist, maar ook een goede organisatie en opzet van dat proces. Doordat multidisciplinair wordt samengewerkt, zijn bovendien goede verslaglegging, communicatie en overdracht noodzakelijk. Daar waar in dit proces minimaal invasieve chirurgie een rol speelt, zijn de daarbij benodigde expertise, instrumenten en apparatuur extra complicerende factoren, ook waar het de patiëntveiligheid betreft.
