Samenvatting
Een vrouw van 45 jaar bezoekt de kno-polikliniek. Ze voelt sinds enkele maanden een pijnloos ‘bolletje’ (nodulus) laag rechts in de hals en is hierover ongerust. Ze verkeert verder in een goede gezondheid. Ze werkt als hulp in de huishouding, rookt een pakje sigaretten per dag sinds achttien jaar en drinkt incidenteel alcohol.
