Abstract

In dit hoofdstuk wordt ingegaan op een veel voorkomende, complexe en intrigerende vorm van comorbiditeit, namelijk die tussen persoonlijkheidspathologie en depressie. Beide ziektebeelden worden van oudsher beschreven als nauw met elkaar verweven; daarbij lijken de onderlinge samenhang en de wijze waarop de vormen van pathologie elkaar wederzijds beïnvloeden slechts ten dele te zijn ontrafeld.
