Abstract
Spinal tumors have various origins, but a common feature of their intrarachidian development is that they cause spinal or radicular compression or compression of the osteoligamentous structures of the vertebral canal. Spinal tumors can be distinguished in relation to their site of origin: extradural or rachidian tumors; intradural tumors: a) extramedullary and b) intramedullary.
