Riassunto
Tra i fattori sociodemografici la condizione socioeconomica è un aspetto importante che presenta una forte correlazione con l’aumento del rischio di suicidio. Essa rappresenta, insieme alla perdita recente di un familiare e ad eventi di vita negativi, un fattore di rischio secondario del suicidio, la cui potenza predittiva è abbastanza alta se sono presenti fattori di rischio primari come, ad esempio, malattie psichiatriche o precedenti tentativi di suicidio (Maris, 1997).
