MRI of the Breast: Technique, Indications, and BI-RADS Classification

  • Karen Kinkel

Abstract

Following mammography and ultrasound (US) of the breast, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has turned into a major imaging modality in the diagnosis of breast cancer within the last 15 years [1]. This workshop summarizes technical recommendation, indications for reading and reporting findings of breast MRI, and clinical indications.
