Riassunto
Nel 1980 Reinhold Messner scalò l’Everest in solitaria senza l’ausilio di ossigeno compiendo un’impresa storica. Il noto alpinista aveva ben pianificato il da farsi in condizioni estreme. Si era preparato, allenandosi sia mentalmente sia fisicamente. Una volta partito, era a conoscenza delle conseguenze di ogni suo passo, di ogni sua azione. Camminare dieci passi e fermarsi, oppure farne venti, per Messner, aveva un preciso significato.
