Abstract
The platforms offered by the brokers typically are not programmable, i.e., one has to use the indicators provided by the broker and he can only change by hands their numerical parameters; in other words he can neither use a new indicator of his own nor optimize the parameters of the indicators provided by the broker. This is a problem, but it has a solution, albeit slightly tiring (but only slightly) and a little expensive (but not pretty much).
