Lung Function Monitoring: Data Provided by CT Scan
In the last 10 years the role of computed tomography (CT) in the clinical evaluation of thoracic diseases has rapidly gained popularity becoming one of the most important research and diagnostic tool. In particular, CT played a major role in improving our knowledge in the physiopathology of the Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and in evaluating the impact of the different approaches commonly used to therapeutically treat the syndrome.
