Non che i condilomi acuminati siano particolarmente frequenti, ma li tratto in un capitolo a parte per associarli con il tema della stenosi anale, che può complicare la chirurgia sia dei condilomi che di altre patologie proctologiche, e con il tema della stenosi rettale che ò in genere la conseguenza di deiscenze anastomotiche più alte.
