Riassunto
I sistemi sanitari sono reti enormi e complesse composte da numerosi microsistemi, ciascuno dei quali ha il suo personale, i suoi processi, la sua cultura. Inoltre questi sistemi sono collocati all’interno di un contesto normativo, sociale, culturale e politico complesso e in continuo cambiamento, che nello stesso tempo sostiene e vincola i loro sforzi per fornire e migliorare cure sicure ed efficaci. Sinora abbiamo esaminato il cambiamento nell’ambito dei processi e dei team e attraverso reti cliniche; dobbiamo ora affrontare la sfida più grande: realizzare un cambiamento profondo a livello di un sistema sanitario.
