In questo capitolo viene spiegato il concetto di modello di business e si esplorano le ragioni per cui „innovazione“ e „innovazione nei servizi“ non sono più esclusivamente un problema di tecnologia. Evidenziamo che sono piuttosto i modelli di business, oggetto di trattazione, a costituire una componente critica al centro del processo di innovazione.
