È necessario che il chirurgo abbia un’adeguata esperienza in chirurgia laparoscopica pediatrica e sia abituato a realizzare l’annodamento intracorporeo in uno spazio limitato. I genitori sono accuratamente informati sulla tecnica della pneumovescica e si ottiene il consenso alla procedura. Questo aspetto è molto importante, in quanto si tratta di una procedura nuova e non sono ancora disponibili dati a lungo termine riguardo i potenziali vantaggi e svantaggi.
