Riassunto

In virtù della loro formazione, esperienza e pratica, i professionisti della salute mentale si trovano spesso nella giusta posizione per identificare e determinare le condizioni che potrebbero diminuire l’abilità di guidare un’automobile. A questo proposito, attualmente, ci si chiede, in un ampio dibattito, se sia lecito attendersi dai medici che identifichino quali individui, a causa di un disturbo mentale, non siano in grado di guidare in modo sicuro e, in caso i medici fornissero tale stima, quali ragionevoli misure di protezione dovrebbero mettere in atto.
