Perché predittori di insuccesso e non di successo? Perché secondo noi è il fallimento della NIV e soprattutto il ritardare colpevolmente l’eventuale intubazione che poi determina l’outcome del paziente; sapere che il paziente ha invece buone possibilità di successo ci conforta ma certo non ci fa mai abbassare la guardia.
