Riassunto

Come tutti i campi applicativi della genetica e della biologia molecolare in senso esteso, anche la genetica forense sta vivendo in questi anni un importante sviluppo. Solo nell’anno 2008 è possibile contare più di 400 articoli scientifici e alcune monografie riguardanti queste tematiche. Oltre a questi, sono disponibili online gli atti dei più importanti meeting della comunità scientifica nel campo, l’International Society for Forensic Genetics (ISFG), molti dei quali rappresentano apporti scientifici ed esercizi collaborativi del Gruppo Italiano dei Genetisti Forensi (Ge.F.I.) che, attivo dal 1966, raccoglie gli esperti italiani del settore.
