Riassunto
Lo studio della patologia placentare con RM ha suscitato un interesse crescente. Sebbene la combinazione tra esame ecografico trans-addominale e trans-vaginale risulti un ottimo metodo per lo studio della placenta e l’individuazione di patologie a essa correlate, esistono situazioni in cui resta difficile il corretto inquadramento diagnostico. I disordini dell’invasione placentare (placenta accreta, increta e percreta) rappresentano alcune di queste condizioni; la diagnosi risulta particolarmente difficoltosa qualora la placenta si localizzi sulla parete uterina posteriore, a causa di pregressi tagli cesarei [1,2].
