Una corretta gestione della gravidanza non può prescindere attualmente da un attento esame dello sviluppo placentare. La placenta rappresenta l’organo chiave degli scambi nutritivi tra la madre e il feto, oltre che delle funzioni escretrici e respiratorie fetali.
