L’osteoporosi può interessare soggetti in età evolutiva con una incidenza notevolmente inferiore rispetto ai soggetti in età involutiva. L’esordio clinico dell’osteoporosi in età pediatrica compare di solito verso gli 8–14 anni ma può riscontrasi anche in età inferiore.
