Riassunto
Sulla costa settentrionale della Papua Nuova Guinea vi è un’antichissima scala di corallo che si innalza verso il cielo per circa un chilometro. Ogni gradino è quel che resta dell’antica barriera corallina, che un tempo impreziosiva i fondali del Mare di Bismarck.
