Total Pancreatectomy: Indications, Technique, and Postoperative Problems

Abstract

Total pancreatectomy (TP) consists in removing the entire pancreas, together with part of stomach, duodenum, common bile duct, gallbladder, spleen, and nearby lymph nodes.
