Pitfalls in Total Hip Replacement

Abstract

Total hip replacement in hemophilia requires an appropriate indication, preoperative planning, a well-carried-out procedure, and rehabilitation to obtain a good long term-result. In clinical series, it is a procedure that has demonstrated a higher rate of failure than for non-hemophiliac patients [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8].
