Le forme di cefalea di lunga durata quali l’emicrania e la cefalea tensiva, costituiscono il gruppo di più frequente riscontro nella pratica clinica. Le cefalee di breve durata sono meno frequenti ma vanno ugualmente e correttamente riconosciute e diagnosticate poichè la corretta e tempestiva diagnosi ne consente il corretto trattamento con rapida risoluzione del fenomeno doloroso e restituzione di una adeguata qualità di vita al paziente.
