Abstract
I hope, at the end of this book, that the reader has perceived what I have intended as the main objective of this writing: to trace the way, the course for a passage, from reflections on planning (which has for the last 20 years abusively been called “planning theory”), toward a reconstruction ofmatters and of operational capacity, i.e., that which should be a true theory of planning1.
Here the reference is explicitly to the game of prepositions introduced by Faludi (ÆÌSHIELAmSHIELAkSHIELAga), and already mentioned in Chap. ÆÌ.That game of prepositions makes me suspicious that Faludi, since the beginning of the use of the expression, ¡§theory of planning¡¨- in the early ÆÌSHIELAmSHIELAkSHIELAes, had already perceived the risk of itsmisunderstanding, and chosen to wilfully ignore it. This doubt has been formulated by others (for instance, Seni 1996b).
