Lo studio ecografico degli organi intra-addominali fetali si esegue mediante scansioni trasverse dell’addome muovendo la sonda dalla porzione più craniale a quella più caudale e viceversa. L’apparato digerente fetale deve essere studiato valutando il situs, visualizzando lo stomaco, la colecisti, il fegato, la milza e l’intestino.
