A knowledge based approach for semantic reasoning of stories using ontology

Reasoning is the cognitive process of looking for reasons for beliefs, conclusions, actions or feelings. It helps to infer conclusions by analyzing facts from a conversation or from situation or from the write ups etc. For every human being, reasoning is like breathing. If it fails, they feel as handicapped. Reasoning is recognized as a structure of thinking and the analysis of the emergence to derive the conclusion. Human beings can do rational reasoning using their sixth sense whereas making the system to reason on available facts and deriving the implicit knowledge is very difficult. In Automatic Story Generation System (ASGS), needs to perform the reasoning on stories in order to provide the proper meanings and also to ensure the valid concepts and consistency in the stories. ASGS generates the story automatically based on the user’s desires and interest.
