Performance of Groundnut: Recent Trends, Prospects and Constraints
Groundnut is one of the principal oilseeds in the world. According to USDA estimates for the TE2010–11, from a world total oilseeds production of about 432 million metric tons, groundnut share was approximately 8%, behind soybeans (56.7%) and rapeseed-mustard (13.8%).
