Over the past decade, endonasal surgery has become the workhorse for treating inflammatory diseases and neoplasms involving the paranasal sinuses and skull base [1]. Its popularity as an alternative to open procedures for treating these conditions lies in its excellent access to the anterior and middle skull base and to the paranasal sinuses, while eliminating the morbidity associated with facial incisions and open craniotomy.
