Abstract
An analysis has been carried out for the propagation of SH-type wave in anisotropic layer overlying anisotropic viscoelastic half-space of higher order. The dispersion relation is obtained under certain boundary conditions. The numerical results are discussed through figures for a particular model by plotting the graph between phase velocity and wave number for different values of thickness of layer.
