Abstract
For the scale factor as \(a(t)=At^n e^{bt}\) we have discussed the behavior of the Brans–Dicke parameter \(\omega \) as a function of scalar field \(\phi (a)=\phi _1 e^{\alpha a}\). We have examined viability of the scale factor and subsequently studied its impact on \(\phi \) as well as \(\omega \).
