Abstract
Several scientists performed experiments to determine relative velocity of light with respect to earth. This chapter discusses the most important experiment that was performed by Michelson and Morley in 1887. Fizeau’s experiment is also described to show the effect of moving medium on the velocity of light. Relativistic concept of space and time has also been explored.
