Abstract
Iatrogenic visual loss after orbital or eyelid surgeries can be one of the most unexpected and frustrating complications both to patients and surgeons. If not properly dealt with, it can lead not only to devastating clinical outcomes to the patient but also potential medicolegal consequences to the surgeon. Due to its rarity, the exact incidence, aetiology, clinical course, outcome and optimal management of this complication are not fully understood. This chapter aims to summarize the current understanding and management of this rare but important complication.
