Equilibrium Dialysis

Since reported by Marrack and Smith (1932), the equilibrium dialysis method has been used as a technique for analyzing the association constant between molecules in liquid phase (Fig. 1). However, other methods have become more commonly used in recent years, as the equilibrium dialysis has two distinct disadvantages in terms of speed and relatively large volumes required.
