Summary

Pancreaticogastrostomy was done for reconstruction of the pancreatic stump after pancreaticoduodenectomy in 125 cases of ampullary carcinoma. There were no pancreatic leaks. The 5-year survival rate was excellent for patients who had no pancreatic or lymph node involvement.
