Abstract
We studied the low temperature annealing effect on Tc and oxygen content for YBa2Cu3Oy single crystals grown by SRL-CP method, measuring dc resistivity and ac susceptibility. It was found that the samples annealed at temperatures lower than 450°C in oxygen atmosphere were in the overdoped state, the highest Tc was observed for the samples annealed at 500°C. By annealing at 350°C, it lasted about one month to obtain an almost homogeneous oxygen content in a sample with a size of 1mm3.
