Allergic Substances of Ginkgo biloba

Abstract

Contact dermatitis is an inflammatory reaction of the skin, caused by foreign irritants (antigens) which are harmless on first contact but able to elicit specific effector T cells in the individual. If sensitization has been established, skin lesions develop several hours after contact with the specific material, and the reaction reaches a maximum in a few days (delayed hypersensitivity).
