Abstract
In this book, two major objectives were achieved. The first objective was to propose three theoretical models of urban residential land use, in which landownership is explicitly considered. The first model is an α-landownership model, in which a group of city residents is assumed to own the circular area (α-land) from the CBD up to a radius α. The second model is an S-landownership model, in which a group of city residents is assumed to own a subset, S, of the city’s land (S-land). The third model is an α-landownership model with crowding externalities.
