Abstract
The IFOS Committee on Education received the recommendation from the leadership of the organization to study the “Education and Training of the Specialist and Super Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology.” The breadth of the subject implied a world-wide survey of graduate training in Otorhinolaryngology [ORL] and the disciplines which are divisions of ORL, such as Otology/ Neurotology, Pediatric Otolaryngology, Bronchoesophagology, Laryngology, and Facial Plastic Surgery, and Head and Neck Surgery (usually addressing oncology as a major consideration).
