Abstract

There are not a few children suffering from the middle ear disease and being impaired in hearing for the lack of E.N.T. doctors, poor hygiene and economic conditions in Southeast Asia. Some of them even show a symptom of brain. E.N.T. doctors are one out of 14,000 in population in Japan, one out of 210,000 in the Philippines, one in 370,000 in Thailand, one in 560,000 in Indonesia and one in 860,000 in Nepal in 1990.
