Chronic Ear Infection disease is a chronic infection in the middle ear, that is well known as chronic suppurative otitis media. Chronic infection disease of the middle ear has been divided into benign form and dangerous forms. In benign form, infection usually occurs only in the middle ear mucous membrane. In dangerous form, infection usually occurs also to the bone caused by the presence of cholesteatoma, the pathologic tissue comes from skin epithel that traps in the middle ear which caused bone destruction. Therapy on the benign chronic ear disease is conservative. While the dangerous form have to be operated to remove all the pathologic tissue as cholesteatoma and granulation.
