Abstract
It is a well-known fact that hematogenous metastasis frequently involves the liver as welll as the lungs. The occurrence of metastatic carcinoma in the liver is far more frequent than primary carcinona. The ratio of secondary over primary carcinoma has been reported to range from 7: 1 to 20: 1.
