Extrahepatic Metastasis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Not a few reports have dealt with metastasis of HCC, drawing somewhat varying conclusions. In general, HCC has been known as a tumor which metastasizes outside the liver only at a rather late stage, despite the occurrence of widespread intrahepatic metastasis at a relatively early stage.
