Abstract
Together with the proliferation of CT-guided stereotaxic systems, there has been a rapid increase in stereotaxic operations for intracerebral hematoma [1–9, 11]. We have performed the aspiration of spontaneous intracerebral hematomas on 212 cases using Leksell’s CT-stereotaxic system since 1983, and the 168 cases were followed up for 6 months. This paper reports upon our method and results of these 168 cases.
