Moyamoya Disease: The Australian Experience

Since the original arteriogram and description of this disease in 1955 by Shimizu and Takeuchi, and Suzuki’s reporting of cases in 1963, it has been thought that this disorder is a rare one chiefly involving Japanese for whom: it would appear cerebral vascular disorders are a great deal more common than for Western people.
