Moyamoya Disease in Thailand

It is well known that the attention of neurosurgeons around the world was drawn to the existence of moyamoya disease by Suzuki of Sendai, who also gave it its present name. It was indeed very appropriate to discuss this disease at the meeting in Sendai. One of the most puzzling aspects is the apparently high prevalence among Japanese. An inquiry into the geographical distribution of this strange disease of unknown etiology would therefore be interesting,
