A Prospective Randomized Trial of Pre- and Postoperative Chemotherapy in Patients with Esophageal Cancer
Most patients with esophageal cancer are at an advanced stage when they were referred to surgeons, and the prognosis is generally poor. However, operative mortality rates after radical operation for esophageal cancer have decreased with improvement of operative procedures and perioperative care.
