Abstract

Contrary to many fields in business and administration, the usage of the computer in the Operating Room (OR) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is very limited. One usually finds a Hospital Information System (HIS) for the administration, but in OR and ICU you only find some isolated systems for special tasks.
