Abstract

It is now popular to measure cardiac output based on thermodilution method using Swan- Ganz catheter. However we can obtain cardiac output data only intermittently by this method, although we know cardiac output can be altered very easily by such sutle factors as pain, fair or excite ment. Therefore there have been increasing demands of developing a new instruments for continuous monitoring of cardiac output.
